The event this year went by in a blur and was packed with meetings and introductions – we hardly had time for selfies!
We also got to see some of the amazing technology on display from robotics for rehab to intelligent infusion pumps. There were sensors for independent care, novel monitoring for cardiology, neuroscience and rehabilitation, in addition to the scalp cooling technology for oncology. I got some great updates in the woundcare arena for antimicrobial silver sprays and jellyfish collagen dressings. We spent a good deal of time in the wearables section of the show in Hall 15 – wearables for asthma treatment and epilepsy to coaching for pelvic floor exercises. And a huge thank you to the guys on the Singapore pavilion – some fantastic companies and technologies – we’ll be in touch.
In addition to the planned meetings it was a pleasure to travel with the Northern Powerhouse companies – some great new friends made along the way and who knows maybe some new business opportunities.
Look forward to doing it all again next year……
