SimDH Workshop 27 June 2017
It was a pleasure to deliver the Digital Health Workshop at London Southbank University last week. The event was part of the free programme – Simulation for Digital Health (SimDH) which supports health tech start-ups and SMEs to innovate and develop new products/services.
We were able to deliver a broad overview of digital health in the UK and also look at the evidence base and economic case needed for new products.
As part of the day we invited Nicky Runeckles, who presented on ORCHA – the Organisation for Review of Care and Health Apps. We also invited Moe Miah, Business Development Manager at Visyon360, who spoke about ‘Social Innovation’ activities within the company. To end the session and thanks to Moe we were all immersed in various virtual reality experiences together with the amazing AR Hololens headset.
It was also encouraging to see so many great SME innovators on the day and hopefully we will be back soon for further workshops.
